Lupton Fawcett, an integrated commercial law firm based in Leeds, has selected Pilgrim’s LawSoft as its next generation PMS and Case Management Solution.
The firm took the decision to replace their existing PMS (AIM) in order to improve the level of functionality and analysis information available to Directors, Fee Earners and Senior Management team and to enhance the service they deliver to their clients.
The investment in Pilgrim will see Lupton Fawcett implementing the recently released version 1.0 of LawSoft Office, a brand new PMS paradigm which enables users to enter data directly through their favourite Microsoft Office applications. Version 1.0 allows time to be entered and maintained through Outlook, client and contact data through Outlook and bills to be produced end-to-end in Word. By harnessing the power of MS Exchange, LawSoft Office also allows fee earners to work off-line, synchronising with their LawSoft database when they next connect to the Exchange server.
LawSoft Office works in conjunction with LawSoft Web, Pilgrim’s advanced web portal meaning that users can collaborate within the organisation. Secretaries and administrators can enjoy the full functionality of LawSoft Web, whilst fee earners use LawSoft Office.
The implementation will include LawSoft Practice, Document, Client Relationship and Case Management solutions. The firm will also provide clients with enhanced extranet access to their key matter information via LawSoft Xtra.
Shaun Denham , Head of ICT at Lupton Fawcett explains the firm’s choice.
“We researched the market and products thoroughly before selecting Pilgrim and LawSoft who, we believe, are way ahead of other vendors in terms of functionality and a proven product suite. We are very excited at the prospect of implementing LawSoft Office as part of the solution to meet our business requirements. The development time Pilgrim has deployed to produce LawSoft Office proves their vision of the future for law firms and their use of PMS and Case Management solutions matches our own.”
David Thorpe of Pilgrim commented: ‘This is a very rewarding win for Pilgrim. Lupton Fawcett is a highly regarded, well established firm with an excellent reputation. Given their selection criteria, the choice of LawSoft endorses the capacity it has to deliver a real return on investment. We are delighted that Lupton Fawcett has decided to implement LawSoft Office as part of that solution.”
We welcome the firm to the Pilgrim client base and we look forward to working with them for many years to come.
