Following an exhaustive selection process the X Factor’s lawyers, Magrath & Co, have decided to implement Pilgrim’s ‘LawSoft’ Enterprise PMS solution.  This will see the firm deploying LawSoft as its Financial, Client Relationship and Document Management, systems.   The firm will also be integrating LawSoft with its nFlow digital dictation system for enhanced document production capabilities.

Magrath & Co have taken the decision to change their existing Osprey Praactice system as they feel that their needs have outgrown Praactice’s capabilities.  The firm’s Partners wish to have access to more dynamic management information, their fee-earners would like to have instant access to key client and matter information in a single web page and the firm’s Finance Director is keen to automate many of the firm’s manual administrative processes such as billing, posting requests and client/matter inception. 

Having reviewed the market the firm decided that LawSoft was best placed to help them meet these goals.  The firm were very impressed by the breadth of the LawSoft solution and could see the benefits of implementing a single integrated solution to manage the key business functions of the firm. 

An important factor in the firm’s decision was Pilgrim’s ability to show a consistently high investment in product development.  The firm were keen to ensure that their selected supplier would have an evolving product that would be capable of meeting their future requirements.  Ben Sheldrick, the firm’s IT Partner, commented;
