Pilgrim is delighted to announce that LawSoft Office Billing has the chance of winning an award. The module has been shortlisted in the Best New Product category for The KnowList Awards 2010.
Many of you will have seen the product in action either at the last User Conference or at product demonstration sessions. As we all know billing is vitally important to every law firm, yet it is also the task most reluctantly undertaken by fee earners. LawSoft Office Billing makes the billing process intuitive and simple and it is conducted end-to-end directly from within Microsoft Word. Once a bill is requested, the draft is presented within Word as the client would view it. All modifications to values, narratives and content are made directly within this Word document (subject to the firm’s own business procedures, workflows and security rules) and once complete, the bill can be printed from within Word which makes the posting into the database in real-time. Of course, because the bill is produced within Word, all of Word’s spelling and grammar tools, styles and formatting options are available to the fee-earner. Billing in LawSoft Office is quick, efficient and intuitive, and--like other LawSoft Office functions--can be performed off-line as well as when in the office.
If you agree that LawSoft Office Billing represents a significant step forward for the legal billing process and therefore merits the title of Best New Product, then we would really appreciate you voting for it. You can do so by going to http://www.theknowlist.com/#/awards-shortlist/4535967788, registering and then selecting LawSoft Office Billing in the appropriate category. Thank you in advance to all those that support Pilgrim.
