Once a bill is requested, the draft is presented within Word as the client would view it. All modifications to values, narratives and content are made directly within this Word document (subject to the firm’s own business procedures, workflows and security rules) and once complete, the bill can be printed from within Word which makes the posting into the database in real-time. Of course, because the bill is produced within Word, all of Word’s spelling and grammar tools, styles and formatting options are available to the fee-earner.
